Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

Thimtec Thimble Tape

Policy Statement

Thimtec ("Company") has determined that advertising practices undermining the Company's brand reputation, goodwill, and premium image can be detrimental to the Company's and its resellers' competitive position. Therefore, the Company has adopted this unilateral Minimum Advertised Price ("MAP") Policy.

Product Coverage

This MAP Policy applies to all advertisements of Thimtec Thimble Tape by any reseller.

Minimum Advertised Prices The current MAP prices for Thimtec Thimble Tape products are as follows:

  • Thimtec Thimble Tape Single Roll Pack: $5.00
  • Thimtec Thimble Tape 2-Pack: $8.00
  • Thimtec Thimble Tape 3-Pack: $12.00

Note: These MAP prices apply to all colors and variations of each product configuration. Prices effective as of December 1, 2024.

Policy Guidelines

  1. The MAP for Thimtec Thimble Tape shall not be advertised at a price less than the current MAP price published by Thimtec.
  2. This MAP Policy applies to all forms of advertisements including, but not limited to:
    • Print ads (inserts, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, etc.)
    • Online advertising (websites, emails, social media, mobile apps)
    • Broadcast (television and radio)
    • Direct mailers
    • In-store displays
  3. The inclusion of free or discounted products with Thimtec Thimble Tape would violate this MAP Policy if it has the effect of advertising the product below MAP.

Policy Violations

Failure to comply with this MAP Policy may result in:

  • First Violation: Written warning
  • Second Violation: Suspension of shipments for 30 days
  • Third Violation: Termination of reseller relationship

Policy Administration

  • This MAP Policy is non-negotiable and will not be altered for any reseller.
  • Thimtec reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this MAP Policy at any time.
  • This policy does not restrict the actual resale price of any product.
